Na een spannende finale in het Paard van Troje in Den Haag is zondagavond bekend geworden welke deelnemers aan het RTL5-programma Rock Nation de band Stereo gaan vormen.

Thijs (toetsen), Noah (bas), Daan (gitaar), Jean Baptiste (gitaar), Astrid (zang) en Stephan (drums) werden het beste bevonden en mogen zich lid van de rockband noemen.

Het eerste optreden heeft de kersverse band al binnen, ze staan volgend jaar op het Haagse muziekfestival Beatstad. In Rock Nation werd de afgelopen weken gezocht naar het beste rocktalent van Nederland. Artiestenmanager Edwin Jansen en presentator Dennis Weening hadden de taak de rocksterren te begeleiden. De laatste twintig deelnemers woonden met elkaar in een huis in Den Haag.

De RadioDag vindt dit jaar plaats op 8 november. De organisatoren hebben een voorlopig programma gepubliceerd. Het hoofdthema van de RadioDag is "Radio Caroline 1977-1980" met onder andere Erik de Zwart, Marc Jacobs, Ad Roberts, Ferry Eden, Dick Verheul, Johhny Lewis, Peter Chicago en Nigel Harris. Uit Belgie zal Adriaan van Landschoot overkomen en vertellen over zijn zeezender Radio Atlantis.

De RadioDag wordt gehouden in Hotel Casa, James Wattstraat 75 in Amsterdam.
Hotel Casa is vlakbij het Amstel Station.

De zaal is open om half 11 en het programma loopt van 11 tot 17 uur. De toegang is 12,50, donateurs hebben gratis toegang.

Zo 22 t/m 25 oktober staat Amsterdam geheel in het teken van het Amsterdam Dance Event. Het ADE wordt ondermeer georganiseerd door Buma Cultuur en is Europa’s grootste en bekendste congres voor DJ’s, producers, platenlabels, pers, radio, tv en natuurlijk de clubs!

4 Nachten lang zijn meer dan 40 clubs gevuld met meer dan 700 DJ’s en optredens en het ADE is daarmee ’s-werelds grootste club festival.

DeepFM zendt het Amsterdam Dance Event rechtstreeks uit vanaf de feesten in Club Panama, een van de locaties van het ADE. Met optredens van ondermeer internationale helden: Groove Armada, Michael Gray, Victor Calderone, The Cube Guys, Bodyrox, Saemus Haji en nationale top-d.j.’s: Gregor Salto, Funkerman, Bart B More, Sidney Samson, Lucient Foort behoort de line-up tot een waar spektakelstuk voor de dance liefhebber. Het station zal naast de optredens ook interviews en overige informatie uitzenden.
